A believer is the first step; the rest is growth.

In life, when you look at how far you’ve gone, you start as a child. As a child, you had fewer things to consider stressful and burdensome because you understood how things in life work. To set an example, you would live in these options: eat, play, or sleep. Basically, you're in your own world, guarded by your parents who nurture you. It may seem very attractive to live that way, but when growth enters, things are not quite the same.

As you start to grow from being a child to an adult, that’s when you understand you have more to do than you knew. There is more to do than just eat, sleep, or play; there’s now finding a job and earning money to pay the cost of living. In dealing with more personal desires like marriage, completing your studies at a tertiary institution, and achieving goals set for you and by your family (accomplishments).

Well, growth in being a child of God is different, as there are a few things to keep in mind that your growth will depend on how much more of a disciple, servant, and child of God. And you should know that for you to mature, you have to become a child while you're with an adult, meaning:

Obedience is important

Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

If you were to check how a child is expected to behave from a grown-up point of view, the child is expected to be obedient to what is being asked for or old enough to do. The ability of how a child responds is what you should have, and in

Matthew 18: 2 – 4

Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them.  Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. '

In this scripture, Jesus answers a question from the disciples, and Jesus' response uses a child as an example of what we should have inside of ourselves, Humility, towards God and people, for through that, there's faithfulness towards Jesus.

Remember, Jesus Loves You.
