In this world, while there are many things to desire or to have, it is important to think about how your life as a believer in Jesus Christ should be handled because we should learn to keep our eyes focused on Jesus.

Hebrews 12:2 NLT

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Or Jesus, the originator and perfecter of our faith. Because of the joy, Or Instead of the joy. awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Before this verse, it shares more about what slows down our journey in faith in believing in Jesus, and this is something many people struggle with overcoming, because already we live busy lives, and what would be more for us is keeping our eyes focused on Jesus. The practicality of what is being shared brings about these things that Jesus teaches us if we learn to be more focused on Him than on this world.

  1. Awareness of worries

Story: Luke 12: 22-33

When Jesus was on earth, taught about food, money and possessions as something to not worry about this lesson is heavyweight but it’s true the lesser you’re focused on getting new shoes when you already have 6+ pairs of shoes, the greater the focus you should have towards something even better: the kingdom of God with all the treasure safely stored there for you. And Jesus assures you that the more you give and have less connection towards the things of this world, you become a citizen in the heavens.

Philippians 3:20 NLT

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.

  1. More added towards you

After sharing about the teachings of learning not worry about earthly things. The point ended with giving.

2 Corinthians 9:6

Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.

Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. In being able to sell all your possessions, the more you can give, the more you store for yourself a great treasure in heaven. But what I mean is that not only giving what you already have, you can plan to give more as you grow in your faith in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, as a believer in Jesus Christ as my lord and Saviour, equipping yourself with True wisdom, you will be able to find giving much more enjoyable. Nothing is wasted that is from God. Remember, Jesus loves you.
