In this Christian walk that we have, there are many parts in our lives where we should look carefully at what is in front of us and remember that Jesus is with us, waiting for our success in this battle you might be facing. With the present struggles in our lives, there have always been times when we feel a certain way but by just believing in God’s words gives us assurance and peace and makes us safe from works not acting out.
There are more in lines that I suggest we should focus on, which is God’s faithfulness in all situations that were in. He can be able to move with great belief in the control of the situation and the care it has been placed on and I won’t like there are times where our faithfulness to God is not seen and we have to realise that we are being tested.
James 1:3-4 NLT
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
Forgetfulness
Psalms 1:2 NLT
But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.
There is also one aspect that affects many of us, which is forgetfulness of where our identity lies, and I can continue that we may be able to meditate on the word to keep ourselves from having our lives being controlled by external forces that are outside of God, which are in darkness. May you remember that there are parts in our lives we end up not being able to recognise who you are meant to be, this may come from your absence in the time to have with God.
It happens therefore there’s a need to be afraid and not be able to go back to God because you feel ashamed because the God we serve would rather have us understand that without him you cannot be joyful or rather fruitful as you should be, therefore you have to seek him.
2 Corinthians 7:10 NLT
For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Challenge for you:
Practical guidance in that you can set reminders on a reminder app and insert your scriptures and set specific times during the day to alert you.
Presence
Matthew 28:18-20 NLT
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Luke 8: 40 - 55
This is about Jairus who went to find Jesus pleaded with Jesus to come and heal his daughter who was very sick and on the way to his house they were told news from a messenger that comes from Jairus’ house to tell him that his daughter is dead, him focusing on the news that he received he forgot he asked for Jesus to help him what he did have to do is focus on Jesus as he is in his presence. Jesus’ response to Jairus is to not be afraid, though have faith and she will be healed
We too need to be reminded that we should not be afraid instead just believe and have hope that he will do what you asked him for, and will even encourage you in your time of distress if you write in your heart the words he gave Jairus.
Therefore this is what I would suggest you meditate on, reflect, digest, and more, and this will be able to help you understand what can be the next step for you to take on the week ahead of you and encouragement to be faithful to God and see more of his hand on your life
Remember God's grace is on you and bound by the love he expressed to you.
